September 28, 2026; 5pm: Last week, Chinese President Xi Jinping was welcomed to the White House with pomp and celebration. This week, the U.S. Ambassador to China said that Donald Trump offered to sell ARMS to Xi. As Donald Trump cozies up to what the New York Times calls "the greatest military, economic and diplomatic rival of the United States," the White House is scrambling to do damage control, denying that the U.S. would ever offer arms sales to China.
