340. Menopause As a Disease State and What To Do About It With Cynthia Thurlow
Many of you know my guest in this episode, Cynthia Thurlow. She is the host of the Everyday Wellness podcast. She is also an expert in intermittent fasting. She wrote the book Intermittent Fasting Transformation, The 45 Day Program For Women to Lose Stubborn Weight, Improve Hormonal Health and Slow Aging. But in this episode, we're focusing on the perimenopause menopausal state, and how menopause is indeed a disease state. Did you know that the loss of hormones is not just a natural thing that women go through? It's an actual transition into a disease state, which brings forth many other different diseases of aging. We're going to talk about things that you can do to slow that process or what you can do to help with all the symptoms that go along with that process, such as insomnia, lack of muscle tone, brain fog, memory and cognition issues as we age. So enjoy this episode as Cynthia and I always have amazing conversations, but this one is for the books!
