Into the Woods

In late July of 1988, two hunters were walking up this steep mountain trail in Colorado looking for a place to set up for the day. As they were walking, they eventually left the trail and began meandering through the trees looking for a clearing. At some point, they spotted one up ahead, but in this clearing was this really bright white thing at the base of one of the trees.
